OUR RESIDENT SWEETIES
Meet our team of empowering women who are the heart and soul of Sugar(ed).
SUGAR MUMMY
JASMINE | FOUNDER
Our founder and fearless leader of Sugar(ed)'s sweeties can be found training our new residents, demolishing chicken wings or her homemade jerky (you heard right). And all while cozying up to her maltipoo, Kobe.
SUGARISTS
-
Cally
Cha-cha-Cally (pronounced Cha-lee) may be the best cook in town but won’t wash a dish to save her life (and rightfully so, in our opinion). She spends her free time crochet-ing while dreaming of the ultimate nomadic life, without the financial burden and is quite the yarn master.
-
Careyn
Though she has retired her tattoo needles, this cheerful soft-spoken cookie still fills her free time looking at the best of ink-spirations. Something that Careyn doesn't run out of? Care.
-
Chantelle
By far one of our most inked sugarists, Chantelle is utterly obsessed with bodymods and has been fine-tuning her avatar for as long as she can remember. Her “I want to and so I will” is one to live by, especially when it means tolerating while hating the studio’s lemongrass scent.
-
Daphne
This little Malaysian packs a punch, speaks a million languages and lives for life's greatest pleasures - playing with animals, dancing, dessert and above all, Gordon Ramsey.
-
Era
Utterly obsessed with kangkong belacan, sparkling sodas and evening runs, you'd be surprised to learn that this bae is a proud mother of her teenage daughter.
-
Ferdeos
Is it just us, or do you hear that faint music, too? With Ferdeos in the room, there’s never any shortage of all things Korean! Ask our resident K-pop lover for some song recommendations.
-
Finaz
Our half-Malay, half-Pakistani beauty thrives on a healthy lifestyle and a wide array of beauty products. Chilling with good food and great friends is her idea of heaven on earth.
-
Jannah
On most days, she's your friendly girl-next-door, but bring out a game of Azul and you'll be at Jannah's mercy. Just like aceing every lyric at karaoke, she takes her wins very seriously.
-
Joann
Hailing from Malaysia, our most-extra Joann loves cycling in her downtime and indulges in excessive amount of food but always leaves room for fruit to "balance" the naughty out.
-
Liyana
Liyana no longer knows what her favourite hair colour is and has the insane array of ear jewellery. If you don’t find her here, she'll be geeking out to anime, cosplay, and even MMA.
-
Liza
Don't be fooled by her composed disposition - Liza specialises in uncontrollable laughter and lives for metal (the music, not the material) and Mobile Legend.
-
Lucy
Often mistaken for Korean/Japanese, Lucy is actually from China. She may seem shy but loves discussing literature and art, plus she's always willing to play our TaoBao agent.
-
Ly
Perhaps our most soft-spoken resident sweetie, Ly trusts her own compass more than Google Maps, makes killer pho and moonlights as a part-time extrovert
-
Manissah
She goes by Manissah, Manis, or SWEET-ah. Nothing is more purrrfect to her than hanging out in cat cafes against a romantic cotton candy sunset. Her mantra? Every cat is my best friend.
-
Missy
Supposedly sassily sophisticated, this bae is probably as extra as anyone gets, loves life and couldn't be happier to tell you about hers. Missy adores anything artistic and is down for everything.
-
Nasha
Perhaps one of the few hot tea fanatics in Singaling, bubbly Nasha loves a girls’ night out, especially when combined with a good grub hunt. While she loves sugaring clients’ legs, insects, beware… this sugarist is no fan of yours and will rip them clean off. With a smile.
-
Zenn
This Zenn character likes shopping, music and Korean dramas. She loves cute things like babies or Baba’s dog, Snoopy, but hates dirt, spice, dishonesty above all things, UV rays, which is probably why she’s got the skin to rival Cate Blanchett’s latest SKII ad.
FRONT OF HOUSE
-
Constance
Wander-ing where Constance is at? This bundle of joy adores a traveller’s lifestyle and never backs down from a Duolingo challenge. It’s no surprise her all-time favourite read is Eat Pray Love.
-
Fifah
Coach potato - that's how Fifah describes herself on her off days, When not on Mummy Duty, she's busy binge watching K-drama and imagining herself as the female lead characters.
-
Mai
Mai is Sugar(ed)'s resident crochet nerd. When she's not bringing Rémy (from Ratatouille) to crochet life, you can find her chowing down on spicy food to K-drama.
-
Mia
It’s always Throwback Thursday when Mia’s around. Her alter ego is a picture-perfect blonde staring out a cafe window with an MP3 player blasting ‘90s Top Hits’ in the other.
-
Stacy
This brown-eyed baby wants the world to know that she doesn't wear coloured lenses. Aside from her dancing, singing and multiple laughing fits, she is a Serious Stacy when it comes to work.
-
Syah
Our resident Gei-Syah (Geisha) may very well be the sweetest FOH we’ve had to date. As long as she’s around food, music or art and there isn’t a loud-chewer in sight, this beauty can make you feel like you’re laying into a freshly-baked brownie, which she actually makes.
BACK OF HOUSE
-
Azreena
Azreena is the force of nature to the beat of whose drum our smiling smoothies march. Though always ready to go, a Boost Juice or Filet-o-Fish can make this warrior buckle, stat.
-
Baba
Baba is anything but a Baba. Though extremely lame, this court jester does walk and believes acai is a way of life. Hit her up anytime to turn your frown upside down.
-
MUZ
Muz keeps it cool and collected – until she belts out a burp to rival thunder. Lover of all things black (including her two black cats), she's the quiet storm behind our creative flair.
-
Shaf
Consider yourself a cookie of great fortune if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one of Shaf's "Oohnique" culinary creations. This smiling sweetie is also an avid cat-lover.
-
Steph
This behind-the-scenes ogre considers herself a true Singaporean, will never eat to live and suffers from severe OCD. Need tips on cleanliness, grub or discounts? Bark up this tree.
